Cork is a renewable resource. The bark is peeled from the cork tree but the tree is not damaged or cut down. Harvesting the bark can prolong the life of the cork trees which can live for over 200 years. Vast cork forests of the Mediterranean act as important carbon sinks while also providing habitat to a wide range of biodiversity.

Wool is a natural, renewable, and biodegradable resource too. Sheep freely roam the countryside while their wool is occasionally trimmed and regrown in a continuous cycle. No sheep are harmed in the production of wool. This is then turned into yarn and used for carpets, area rugs, and stair runners. An excellent alternative to the synthetic (plastic) carpet options widely available.

Linoleum is made from linseed oil, wood flour, and pine rosin. These natural resources help to produce a beautiful and durable natural product. Linoleum is made from renewable resources and is biodegradable. An excellent alternative to the other vinyl (plastic) flooring options available.

We offer carbon negative products too like our carbon negative carpet tile. This product has a negative embodied carbon. They even use recycled fishing nets that were pulled from the oceans and upcycle this into carpet tile - saving fish and cleaning up our planet.

Further innovations include PVC free plank flooring and products like our waterproof hardwood flooring. This product uses thinly sliced veneers of hardwood which reduces the amount of wood required to make flooring. 10x and 30x less wood is used to create this waterproof hardwood than solid and engineered hardwood flooring respectively. That means 10x and 30x fewer trees are cut down!
